Hard and soft hand

A hard hand is a hand, which does not contain ace. If ace is there, its value is assumed as one. If there is any hand in which the value of ace is assumed as 121, then such hand is said to be soft hand. When a player receives his first two cards and one of them is ace, the value of ace is assumed to be eleven. When the player draws more cards and the sum exceeds 21, the value of ace is assumed to be one.

Betting rules in blackjack

A semicircular table is used to play the game and maximum seven players including the dealer play the game. A circular or a square box is placed on the table and this is known as betting spot. Players have to place bets through their chips. A dealer has to deal the cards and if any player loses, he has to collect money from him and if a player wins, the dealer has to give him the payout.
