The IELTS test means International English Language Testing Services. The student should prove his proficiency in English language to secure admission in foreign universities abroad. It is popularly known as English Language test that is conducted for non-native students so that they can study in universities of those nations, whose official language is English. This test is conducted to examine the listening, speaking, writing and reading skills of the candidates.

Structure of the test

This test comprises of four sections namely reading, listening, writing and listening. The reading section is conducted for 60 minutes. The student should read 3 passages and the student scores 1 mark for every item. In writing section, the student should solve 2 tasks of reading and writing. The student should be able to solve both the tasks. In listening section, the student should solve 4 sections that contain 10 marks. The speaking section includes face-to-face interaction. Structure of the IELTS test

The student should complete the first section in 30 minutes. The next section of reading should be conducted in 60 minutes.
